Felicia Houston has 32 years of nonprofit management experience in organizations that provide services to homeless women with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Felicia has been with Community Forward SF for 25 years, previously serving as the program director for A Woman’s Place Transitional Housing and Drop-In Center before her current role. Prior to Community Forward SF,  she coordinated a dual-diagnosis residential substance abuse program for women and children on the east coast for eight years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal psychology. Felicia has loved living in San Francisco for 25 years and recently purchased a home in the Lake Merritt neighborhood in Oakland. With her lived experience of homelessness, she is proud to be a homeowner.
