Garrett Dexter joined Community Forward in November 2023, bringing a wealth of experience from his previous work at nonprofits throughout the Bay Area. In his previous roles, he successfully launched five programs ranging from permanent supportive housing, scattered site models, and housing location programs. Garrett’s work at Community Forward includes ensuring organizational compliance, developing and launching new programs, and submitting proposals for new programs and other public funding. Garrett holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and a master’s in public administration from San Francisco State University. He is excited to help Community Forward expand its already extensive continuum of care. In his free time, Garrett enjoys being outdoors and fostering his artistic side.
