John joined Community Forward SF in 2019 with over 30 years of nonprofit management experience. Since joining, he has helped the organization develop and strengthen its fiscal systems allowing the agency’s budget to grow to better fulfill its mission.  Prior to joining Community Forward SF, John worked with  Children’s Council of San Francisco, Wu Yee Children’s Services, and Easter Seals. He has a strong commitment to supporting community based organizations and has provided consulting services to several non-profit organizations and volunteered on the board of directors for Whitney Young Child Development Center and Child Care Law Center. He currently serves as the acting treasurer on the Board of Directors for Sustainable Solano. John holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Golden Gate University. John moved to San Francisco in 1985 and now lives in the East Bay. In his spare time, John enjoys spending time with his family, sailing and playing tennis.
