McKenna Morgan

DIRECTOR OF WOMEN’S SERVICES

McKenna is a compassionate and collaborative leader with five years of experience providing direct service to a diverse population of individuals and families experiencing homelessness in the Bay Area. Previous to joining Community Forward SF, they served as Program Director at LifeMoves Coast House, the first shelter in Half Moon Bay. McKenna earned a master’s in social work from Columbia University, specializing in the relationship between micro and macro level social work. They advocate for structural change towards diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging in the workplace for staff and program participants. Mckenna is passionate about how a better understanding of systems of oppression and power can help create lasting change towards addressing social problems like homelessness, wealth inequality, and lack of accessible resources. Outside of work, they enjoy exploring the city, supporting queer art, and joining local advocacy efforts.
