Tammy joins Community Forward SF with 18 years of experience working in social service nonprofits, which began with her work for The Salvation Army as a Development Associate. She attended SF City College and Heald College to earn an associate degree, where she became interested in human resources management. She has worked in human resources roles at  the Golden State Divisional Headquarters, the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center and the Salvation Army Divisional Headquarters before joining Community Forward SF in 2021. Tammy is passionate about using her experiences to empower clients and employees and support women facing similar issues. She believes that employees must come first in order to provide the best care for clients and that every employee, regardless of position, is equally important to a successful organization. Tammy is in the process of acquiring her SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resource Management-Senior Certified Professional) certification. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, art, volunteering, and cooking for friends and family, including her three beautiful children and three grandchildren.
