Wow! We are still in awe of this year's Drag Show to End Homelessness! Because of our Community, we raised over $100,000! Thank you so much to all of our attendees, staff, and supporters. A special thanks to our fabulous cohosts Honey Mahogany and Sister Roma, and of course our queens and king – Amoura Teese, Melanie Sparks, Yanira “Tongo” LELÉ, and Helixer! Last Thursday, you proved to us that when We Believe in a cause, we can do great things! That when We Believe in patience, honesty, and trust, in giving a damn, in second, third, fourth chances – we can transform lives.
We heard about Eva's story. Separated from her son and unhoused, Eva found the Drop-In. She received comprehensive care, therapy, and support. After three months, Eva was reunited with her son with the help of her Community Forward case manager.
Eva is just one story. Each year we see over 3,000 guests, all with unique stories just like Eva’s, across all six of our buildings that are open 24/7, 365 days a year.
